STAINLESS STEEL ROLL BARS FOR BMW Z3 96-02
ALTERNATE INSTALLATION
Roll bar installation after 97. Cut out the top hole
for roll bar insertion into the existing trim panel, to 1 7/8 inches .
Measured down 1 1/4 inches from the top of the trim panel and drilled a 1" hole
for access to the hold down lug. Plastic plugs, purchased at Lowes
or a body shop for about $1.00, can be used to plug the 1" hole . Slid
the bars in place with a little WD40 or light oil, put the set screw in
each side and tighten. Plug the 1" round lug access hole with the
plastic plugs, and it looks great. Click on the
